Come hang out at the Noarlunga Library and chat about all things Endo Days together. You tell me your stories and I'll tell you some jokes. We can also have nibbles and drink some wine, or water, or something!
Endo Days: life, love & laughter with endometriosis author talk Thursday, 28 November 5:30pm to 6:30pm @ Noarlunga Library
This event is part of the Health Matters programme and WordFest Onkaparinga.
Here's the blurb: Join Fringe performer, journalist and endometriosis patient Libby Trainor Parker for a discussion about her book Endo Days.
Libby tells her own inspiring tale of chronic illness and pain with a warmth and humour that will have you feeling like you’re among friends. Come along for a relaxed evening in the library where we will tell some tales, have some laughs, eat some snacks, and drink some wine!
You don’t have to have endometriosis, or know someone with endometriosis, to benefit from attending this event. This talk is suitable for anyone wishing to know more about a very common yet under-researched medical condition, in a fun and honest format.
Nibbles will be provided and drinks will be available for purchase from 5pm. Libby's book Endo Days will be available for purchase and Libby will be signing copies on the night.
Bookings required. Call Noarlunga Library on 08 8384 0655 or register here
Please note: This talk will discuss endometriosis, women's health and the reproductive system.
