A new variety open mic night for disabled & chronically ill artists featuring eight variety open mic performances by local disabled and chronically ill artists and one incredible headliner, all brought together by the creator of the multi-award winning disability cabaret Singin' in the Pain.
Drag, burlesque, slam poetry, and original cabaret songs are all possible symptoms of this unstoppable FLARE-up. The recommended treatment? Ride it out. This is one FLARE you won't ever want to end.
July headliner: Libby Trainor-Parker
(cabaret performer, author, activist, and mentor)
FLARE hires a headliner for each show in the hopes of connecting up and comers with seasoned professionals. Headliners are chosen with this in mind - and Libby is the perfect example.
You might know her as the face of ENDO DAYS, but this chronically ill cabaret cutie contains multitudes. Libby is a cabaret performer/writer, author, producer, mentor, radio host, and venue manager. If you're thinking of dipping your finger in a pie, let's just say you'll probably be sharing cherries with Libby.
STRICTLY 18+
